Artist's Statement:
The hologram introduced here... remains sensitive to the particular expressive qualities of holographic film (as opposed to rigid glass plates), expanding and deepening the potential of color reflection holography."Fragile Love" is also elusive. The flesh colored word "love" is projected so far into the viewer's space that the surface of the unlaminated film hologram causes it to literally dissolve in one's eyes. Only at a distance does the word become legible... In contrasting clarity, stylized tears of red and gold stain the green surface of the film.
